September 2017:
Catalyst Quartet
The Catalyst Quartet came in to work with the Cornell Chamber Orchestra.
The quartet worked with section leaders to tighten the sounds and give clearer cues.
They discussed interpretation, phrasing, and performance presence.
The students listened intently and tried out the suggestions under their fingers right away…
…and had a lot of fun in the process!
