Concert Policies

To help ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all Cornell Concert Series patrons and performers, we kindly ask that you take a moment to review our policies.

BOX OFFICE

The Box Office at Bailey Hall is open to patrons only on the night of the concert, beginning approximately one hour before the performance starts. Tickets may be purchased at that time, provided the performance is not sold out. To purchase tickets in advance, please click this link.

LATE SEATING

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests and performers, we kindly ask patrons to arrive on time for their scheduled performance. Guests who arrive after the performance has begun will be seated at the discretion of the ushers during an appropriate pause.

For some performances, late arrivals may be directed to designated seating until intermission, at which point they may move to their ticketed seats. Please note that certain performances may not allow late seating due to artistic or technical considerations; in such cases, guests will be asked to wait until intermission.

If a patron needs to leave during the performance, re-entry will be permitted only during a suitable break and at the discretion of the ushers.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Food and beverage are not permitted in Bailey Hall.

CELL PHONE & CAMERA USAGE

Please ensure all electronic devices are turned off or silenced during the performance. Photography and video recording are not permitted.

CHILDREN

We’re excited to welcome young music lovers to our musical events! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following:

  • Every child, regardless of age, must have a ticket and a seat.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • Please ensure young guests are able to sit quietly and enjoy the performance without disturbing others.

  • If a child becomes restless, we encourage a brief break in the lobby. Our ushers are happy to help with re-entry when appropriate.
